its pretty good, just a few changes.
Zealous renewal => mystic vigor
Faithful Intervention => Mystic Regeneration
Vital Boon =>Reaper's Sweep(when you can get it, or wounding strike i guess, but reapers is better)

And...
Watchful Intervention > Faithful Intervention
Mystic Vigor > Vital Boon
Watch Yourself > Conviction
Chilling Victory > Mystic Sweep
But seriously, you're lvl16, you're supposed to try as many skills as you can, get a feeling of them, and find the build which suits you.

zealous renewal isnt reallly e-managment, usually cost more than it returns. dont bother with it, waste of a slot.

[skill]Wearying Strike[/skill][skill]Mending Touch[/skill]
A 10 energy combo that's much more powerful than Chilling Victory. Wearying Strike is a nonelite Eviscerate for dervs. It never leaves my bar as long as I have condition removal. If you have Factions, go D/A and replace Mending Touch with [skill]Signet of Malice[/skill].

using mending touch with wearying is a bad idea. its to slow, and you should already have reaper's/wounding

Your elite is pretty much free in PvE unless you're running Ebon Dust Aura so you should be using Reaper's/Wounding; Wearying Strike -> Signet of Malice is okay in PvP if you're running AoG or something.
Conviction > WY!; you won't be able to spec enough to tactics to make WY! worthwhile; just stick it on a warrior. Conviction works fine at 6 Earth Prayers, which makes a great 12+3+1 Scythe, 11+1 Mysticism, and 6 Earth attribute split.
Mystic Vigor > Mystic Regeneration, and one self healing skill is enough
Zealous Renewal is bad in PvE; just use a Zealous Scythe and you'll be fine. Most of the time you won't be able to make much of an energy profit as stuff dies too quickly in PvE.

make sure your attributes are not what the last guy said
they should be
Scythe: 12 +1(or 3 if you have like 7 monks with you)
Mysticism: 10 + 1 + 1
earth: 8(+ 1)
need 8 earth prayers for mystic regen

The last guy knows exacly what he's doing. I don't understand the "if you have 7 monks with you" part....no selfhealing and 3 monks has got me through many missions. The monks on your team and heavy offense on the rest of the team is what will help you win the game. I run 16 scythe mastery + 12 mysticism all the time. If you really feel unsafe using no selfheals, there's plenty in the Mysticism line.

i ment that you shouldnt be using superior runes on a dervish unless you have an ungodly amount of healing. or maybe if you are always packing vital boon, but that starts to be a really awful skill later in the game.
PS. Marverick really didnt fully know what he was doing. Mystic regen is your main heal, and the most effective place to set your earth for that is 8 to get +3 regen. and mysticism should be 12.

Because it's a team game and everyone around you gets +14 armor at 7tactics, which as a Dervish you can keep up all the time. If you affect only one other player with WY that's already +28 armor, so to speak. I dont use "tanking" in PvE nor PvP, that is, a situation where im the only one miles ahead of others. That works sometimes, perhaps, but areas take 5x longer to clear.

Actually using even 2 sup runes on a Dervish in PvE is no big deal. Dervish is a health and enchant tank. If you have problems in PvE with even 2 sup runes, you need to rework the build.

oh I wouldn't say that... wounding strike is awesome. A deepwound you can apply every 3 seconds, and to multiple targets at once with the Scythe's AoE. It is awesome pressure. Aside from Avatar of Melandru, no amount of condition removal could keep up with it, that deepwound will stay on your target. As a Dervish, if you don't always have enchantments up for that deepwound, then you're not playing it right.
On the other side, Reaper's Sweep is an awesome and powerful spike, especially when all the conditions are met. The deepwound of Reaper's is far less reliable, they have to be below 50% health, and it has an 8 second recharge. Still gets is very nice +dmg though.
I love em both.

with wounding you dont need the deepwound at the start, and reaper's has insane bonus damage.

i tried out reaper's but i prefer avatar of lyssa
current build =P
D/W
Avatar of Lyssa
Victorious Sweep
Wild Blow
Chilling Victory/Mystic Sweep (depends on my mood i like mystic sweep because it gives me +27 dmg and 3/4 cast time so with lyssa on i get the bonus dmg from there as well and Chilling Victory's nearby dmg is nice =P)
Heart of Fury
Mystic Regeneration
Faithful Intervention

Hmm looks liek everyone else has got your build covered but I'd like to point out a nice guide which is at the top of the dervish section. http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...php?t=10086488

Which EDA is a good elite to have. Very useful in PvE. Then again I pimp EDA everywhere I go. LoL. It's hard to beat for survivability but the ebon weapon is pretty much a requirement unless you want to eat up a skill slot with staggering force. Luckily the ebon mod is pretty cheap to get. A good ebon scythe can be had for less than 10K by buying the weapon merchant scythe from the Bazaar which ha the oh so useful 15% while enchanted mod on it. then just slap an ebon snathe on. You can go with a 20% enchants mod too but you may want to wait on that for your dream scythe.
